My Story
Over my 17-year career in the pharmaceutical industry, I've acquired a wealth of medical knowledge and experience. I worked for prominent companies such as Merck, Johnson & Johnson, and Novavax. My background is predominantly in pharmacovigilance and complemented by work in global regulatory policy and data governance.
I have experience across a wide range of therapeutic areas with products in disciplines such as oncology, immunology, neuroscience, women's health, and infectious diseases and vaccines. Furthermore, I understand the nuances of pharmacovigilance in the context of drug-device combination products and over-the-counter therapies.
My involvement in drug safety has been multifaceted, from evaluating post-marketing and clinical trial safety reports to offering strategic guidance on safety deliverables, risk management plans, and aggregate reports. Throughout my career, I have been rewarded for finding innovative ways to use technology to streamline pharmacovigilance processes. My time in supporting pharmacovigilance policy gave me a global view of PV regulations and skills to perform impact assessments on existing in-house processes. I am passionate about using my hard-earned skills to contribute to my teams’ success and keep patients safe.
